At Southside Church, we believe that Gospel-centered love and service is the overflow of discipleship and as such, they are two of our core values. As believers we are called to, not only serve one another, but to also love our community through acts of service.
Below are various opportunities that we currently offer for you to get involved and serve with us at SoBo COG. Prayer
Volunteers on the Prayer Team are available to pray with people both during and after our weekend services. They also commit to praying for our church and our community together.
Youth
Volunteers in Youth (middle and high school) get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They greet students, set up events, and lead small groups.

Volunteers on our Hospitality team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They greet people before services, help people find seats, park cars, make coffee, work in Connection Booth and serve communion.

Media
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting, sound, and put up slides for services
Worship
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
